I am very excited to announce that this painting will be part of the 19th annual Works of Heart Art Auction Against AIDS. The proceeds from the sales go to the Alliance of AIDS Services Carolina.

You did a wonderful job on creating a painting that takes you somewhere but still makes you feel relaxed and at home. It is a very enjoyable piece.     Thank you so much for your comment! I'm glad to know someone purchased this painting who really likes it; I certainly enjoyed painting it. I'm currently working on some smaller and vertical-format versions of the same scene - or actually, a few feet to the left of this particular view.
