I decided to try a more ambitious scene with the oil pastels. This is larger than I usually paint, but the nice thing about the pastels is you don't have to consider drying time. I worked on this in several sessions, with a pretty tight underdrawing.

Apparently I forgot to take a picture before I started working, so the background is already in place.



I think I might like the drawing better than the painting.
