It's not quite autumn yet here in North Carolina, but there are a few leaves turning. This is at Tailrace on Neuse reservoir.
I started this painting plein air back in May. It was a study I did during Mike Rooney's workshop. I decided to finish it in the studio yesterday, using a palette knife, for the latest DPW challenge. I like the result, somehow using the knife lets me loosen up more.
