Beehives at the Arboretum

This is my first time trying pastels, and I think it came out really well. I've had a box of oil pastels lying around for... five years? Ten years? and finally decided to try them. One of the mailing lists I subscribe to mentioned pastels, and it planted the idea in my mind.

I've got a really limited palette, there's maybe 12 or 14 colors in the box, but it wasn't too much of a handicap.
